Okay, what is Mother Earth Prints all about?

Well, Diane Johnson, Ecological Artist and Proprietor of Mother Earth prints, creates her own individual original prints and paintings by using the very soil of Planet Earth, which is surrounding us wherever we go. Once the raw material, in this case, soil, has been gathered, Diane adds her own pigments to it to create the different colours necessary in her work.

Diane uses non-toxic methods of Print Making, which is of a very high importance to her and she believes that her unique way of creating these ever-lasting prints and paintings wastes nothing normally associated with conventional art. In addition to this, her Print Making does not destroy our Environment or our own Planet Earth’s limited resources.

Each of Diane’s prints and paintings will contain their own individual ‘history’ therefore no two will be the same. The print ‘history’ contains such elements as where the soil came from, the type of pigment used, etc., and will be different in each case. Only Diane knows the secrets behind them.

Diane is available for all types of tuition (drawing, painting, printmaking), for any age group (6 to 100). Costs varies depending on what is required.
